Traffic Change at Cedarvale Station

 

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as September 14, 2019 a new traffic configuration will be implemented at Cedarvale Station. The bus exit at Eglinton West Station will move west, back to its original location. No changes will be made to the pedestrian routes or traffic lanes. This configuration will be in place for approximately four (4) months until January 2020.

Weekly Lane Reduction at Cedarvale Station for Geotechnical Work August – December 2019

What Work is Taking Place?

Starting Thursday, August 8th, crews will conduct a weekly closure of the eastbound curb lane of Eglinton Avenue West to perform geotechnical monitoring. Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Winnett Avenue and Allen Road North every Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. through December 2019. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

Concrete Pour at Cedarvale Station Tuesday, August 6, 2019

On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, crews will perform a concrete pour in the work zone south of the Eglinton West subway station. The concrete will form part of a permanent station structure in the west side of the TTC box.  One concrete pump will be set up within the work zone, and concrete trucks will stage on the east side of Allen Road southbound while this work takes place. Lane Reduction at Cedarvale Station for Geotechnical Work - Thursday, July 11, 2019

What Work is Taking Place?

On Thursday July 11, 2019, crews will close the eastbound curb lane of Eglinton Avenue West to install geotechnical monitoring equipment. Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one (1) lane in each direction at Everden Road for approximately six hours. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

Short-term Pedestrian Rerouting for Sidewalk Repairs at Cedarvale Station

What Work is Taking Place?

On Wednesday June 26, 2019, pedestrian rerouting will be in effect while sidewalk repair work takes place.  The sidewalk on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West between Allen Road South and Park Hill Road will be closed, and pedestrians will be rerouted around the work zone. The sidewalk will reopen once the repairs are complete.

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Sunday June 9, 2019, a new traffic configuration will be implemented at Allen Road and Eglinton Avenue West to accommodate the next stage of Cedarvale Station construction. To minimize the impact to the travelling public and TTC operations, the new configuration will be implemented overnight when traffic is lighter.
