Overnight Watermain Works on Eglinton Avenue at Allen Road for Cedarvale Station
WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?
- In preparation for the next phase of shoring works at Cedarvale Station, crews need to cap and remove an old watermain that runs under the current Eglinton Avenue westbound lane.
- Crews will be occupying a lane on Eglinton Avenue West from Park Hill Road to Allen Road North (in front of the TTC station) to accommodate this work.

Early Morning Concrete Pour at Cedarvale Station for Crossover Track Roof Construction
WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?
- With the invert concrete slab now complete at the crossover track section east of Cedarvale Station, the next phase is pouring the roof slab. The roof slab will be poured in sections.
- Due to the large size of these concrete pours, work will start at 4AM in order to complete the pour during the daytime hours, avoiding late overnight work.
- The first pour was successfully completed on October 12.

Allen Road - Short Duration Rolling Lane Reductions - October 27
What Work is Taking Place?
- Crews need to complete surveying activities for centre lines on Allen Road from Eglinton Avenue West to the Aldburn Road Bridge.
- For two hours, one in each direction (north and south), Allen Road will have rolling lane reductions.

Eglinton Lane Reduction for Cedarvale Station Utility Work
What Work is Taking Place?
- To accommodate the continued utility works for Cedarvale Station, crews will reduce eastbound Eglinton Avenue from Park Hill Road to Allen Road to one lane to access two maintenance manholes.
Timing
- The lane reduction is scheduled for October 23 – 27 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily to reduce impact on peak traffic hours.
- Work may be delayed due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Preparing to Realign Allen Road South
PREPARING TO REALIGN ALLEN ROAD SOUTH
In early 2018, the construction work zones and traffic set up will change again for the next phase of support of excavation (shoring) activities on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West at Allen Road.
This requires the Allen Road South off-ramp to be realigned approximately 20m west.
The existing All Road South off-ramp will be in place as-is until early 2018.
