Nightly Lane Reduction from Everdeen Road to Flanders Road - September 7, 8, and 10, 2015
What: Deck repair/maintenance is required for the decking area east of Allen Road on Eglinton.
Where: Eglinton Avenue West from Everdeen Road to Flanders Road
When: Monday September 7, Tuesday September 8, and Thursday September 10, 2015
- Nightly closure will occur from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am
- Some work may be rescheduled or adjusted due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances.

Active Truck Staging Lane and Construction Compound
What: Both Tunnel Boring Machines have started tunnelling east of Allen Road to Yonge Street. The southbound Allen Road truck staging lane will be used to hold up to 4 trucks at a time as part of the operations. What: Metrolinx will be working to relocate major telecommunications infrastructure currently located beneath the west construction site and the north/south pedestrian walkway located on the west side of Allen Road.

Short Term Allen Road Lane Restrictions for Trucking Staging Lane and Construction Compound
What: Installation of truck staging lanes and additional site facilities for Eglinton Crosstown project. This road work and installation of an additional lane is required for the re-launch of the tunnel boring machines at Eglinton Avenue West and Allen Road and the construction of tunnels from east of Allen Road to Yonge Street. Soyez des nôtres ce samedi 18 et ce dimanche 19 avril pour assister à une étape importante du projet de transport léger sur rail (TLR) Eglinton Crosstown!
Dennis et Lea, les tunneliers qui ont creusé le tronçon ouest de la partie souterraine de la ligne Crosstown, seront hissés du puits d’extraction à l’ouest d’Allen Road et seront transportés jusqu’au puits de lancement situé à l’est d’Allen Road.

Dennis and Lea, the tunnel boring machines (TBMs) that have been building the western segment of the Eglinton Crosstown’s underground tunnel, are getting ready for their own big move.
Over the weekend of April 17–20, 2015, Dennis and Lea will be lifted out of the extraction shaft located just west of Allen Road, and moved to the launch shaft just east of Allen Road. The TBMs are being moved in order to bypass the TTC subway line in this area. Lire la suite »
