Kennedy Station will be the terminal station at the eastern end of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT line. Kennedy Station is an interchange station with connections to the GO Transit Stouffville Line, the TTC Scarborough RT, the TTC Bloor-Danforth subway, and a TTC bus terminal. Crews will remove existing traffic signals and install temporary traffic signals on Eglinton Avenue East between Leslie Street and Kennedy Road, to make way for the construction of future surface stops for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.

Changes to the Driveways at 2360 Eglinton Avenue East: Stage 1
In Support of Upgrades to Water Infrastructure for the Eastern End of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Line
Beginning as early as Monday, November 6, 2017 for approximately four (4) weeks, driveways at 2360 Eglinton Avenue East will be modified to support construction of the Crosstown LRT. Work will be done in two stages, each stage lasting approximately two (2) weeks.

Overnight Work in the South Parking Lot at Kennedy Station
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the ongoing work to construct Kennedy Station, crews will install temporary light poles and lines in the South Parking Lot starting as early as October 11, 2017. The work will be performed overnight in an effort to minimize disruption to the public and transit users.

What Work is Taking Place?
Since June 2017, crews have been upgrading and relocating existing hydro utilities in the area located just west of Birchmount Road to Kennedy Road in the vicinity of Eglinton Avenue East. To complete this work, a Hydro outage is required.

We have been busy building you the new 19-kilometre Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit (LRT) line!
This has involved lots of moving parts — excavations at future stations, relocating and upgrading utilities, road widening, and center-medians removal work for future stops.
