What Work is Taking Place?

Beginning on Monday, May 3, crews at Keelesdale station will be installing overhead hydro wires at Yore Rd. Hydro wires will be installed overhead along the northbound curb lane on the south side of Yore Rd and crossing Yore Rd to the north side of the street. North and southbound curb lanes on Yore Dr will be occupied for hydro truck staging to ensure safe installation. In order to facilitate this work, hydro may be shut off at 110 & 112 Yore Rd between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Should hydro outages be required, crews will turn the hydro back on as soon as it is safe to do so. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.

 

What to Expect

North and southbound curb lanes on Yore Rd will be occupied. The lanes will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. Hydro may be shut off to the following properties on Yore Road: 110 Yore Rd, 112 Yore Rd.  

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Crews will be installing the overhead hydro wires beginning as early as Monday May 3 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion.
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected.

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • All current traffic restrictions will remain in place.
  • North and southbound curb lanes on Yore Dr will be occupied
  • There will be no impacts to TTC bus service.
