What Work Is Taking Place?

Geotechnical monitoring work is ongoing at Cedarvale Station and will continue through early 2021. To perform this work safely, crews will be required to conduct a weekly closure of the eastbound curb lane of Eglinton Avenue West. Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Winnett Avenue and Allen Road North every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. through early 2021. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

What to Expect

Expect delays while travelling through the intersection. Park Hill, Strathearn, and Everden Roads will remain closed.

Hours of Work

  • Geotechnical monitoring work is ongoing and will continue through early 2021
  • Weekly lane reductions will take place every Tuesday between 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Traffic and Pedestrian Details

  • Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Winnett Avenue and Allen Road North, while this work takes place.
  • A Paid Duty Officer and/or traffic control personnel will be present while this work takes place.
  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.

Transit Information

  • No changes to TTC are required for this work.
