Bell Utilities Relocation at Chaplin Station

août 25, 2016

What Work is Taking Place?

In late August 2016, crews will begin relocation of existing telecommunication (Bell) lines on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West.  Bell lines within man holes as well within pre-existing duct banks will be shifted south in preparation for station construction.  For the safety of the public and workers, temporary pedestrian and traffic changes will be in effect to accommodate this work.

  • Beginning as early as August 29 for approximately seven weeks
  • This work will be conducted between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion
  • In the event that overnight is required, Metrolinx and CTS will notify the public in advance and monitor activities throughout
