Upcoming: North Entrance Closure and Demolition at Kennedy Station in Fall 2017

septembre 15, 2017

We have been busy building you the new 19-kilometre Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit (LRT) line!

This has involved lots of moving parts — excavations at future stations, relocating and upgrading utilities, road widening, and center-medians removal work for future stops.

Now we are working at the eastern end of the Crosstown LRT line at Kennedy Station — a future interchange station (pictured below).

This Fall 2017, to enable new LRT station infrastructure, we will be closing and later demolishing the North Entrance (pictured below) at the corner of Transway Crescent and closing its stairwell that connects to the underground pedestrian pathway.

Continue to access Kennedy Station

Please take full advantage of the alternate pedestrian routes that will be provided with complementary wayfinding signage, allowing you to continue accessing both transit services and pedestrian facilities:

  • GO Transit (Stouffville Line)
  • TTC Scarborough RT
  • TTC Bloor-Danforth Subway
  • TTC Bus Terminal
  • TTC Underground Pedestrian Pathway
