Holly Street Closed at Eglinton for Toronto Hydro Work

mai 4, 2018

What Work is Taking Place?

To prepare for the construction of Eglinton Station, crews have begun the next phase of re-routing existing hydro utilities in the vicinity of Eglinton Avenue and Yonge Street.

For this next stretch of the work, crews will be working to install new Toronto Hydro infrastructure within the City of Toronto’s public right-of-way. Crews may use a hydro-vacuum truck, excavators, jack-hammer and other construction equipment to complete the work.

Work is expected to begin May 9th for approximately 2-3 weeks. Hours of work will be from 7am-11pm. Work may be delayed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Holly Street will close at Eglinton Avenue for the duration of this work. All driveways and access to parking lots will be maintained.

Transit Information

Access to the TTC Eglinton Subway Station will be maintained. Relocation and re-routing of bus stops is done in consultation with TTC to ensure construction can continue safely while minimizing impact on the community and customers. Please watch for posted notices indicating new information.
