Oakwood Station Secondary Entrance Traffic and Pedestrian Changes

octobre 22, 2018

To facilitate continue progress on the construction of the Oakwood Station secondary entrance, the next stage of construction at the Oakwood Secondary Entrance will soon be underway. Piling work was completed in late 2017 and mining works started at the main entrance in early 2018. Excavation of the secondary entrance has been underway since May 2018 with no additional traffic or pedestrian impacts. Now, to continue progressing works a lane closure on Eglinton Avenue is required.

The lane closure will facilitate mining operations at the Secondary Entrance from late October to the end of December. This work will occur on a 24 hour, 5 day a week rotation.

The new road configuration at the secondary entrance will be in place until the end of December 2018, however it may be extended in to 2019 as required to continue progressing works.
