Lane Restrictions at Eglinton Avenue East and Kennedy Road for Catch Basin Repairs

What Work is Taking Place? 

Crews will be conducting repairs to catch basin located on Eglinton Avenue East – east of Kennedy Road as early as Thursday, January 10, 2019 and resume on Sunday, January 13 to Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

There will be lane restrictions in order to accommodate this work, in order to minimize interruptions the work will be performed OVERNIGHT and is expected to be of a short duration — approximately seven (7) hours — if no unforeseen circumstances are encountered during the work.

Timing

  • Date: As early as Thursday January 10, 2019 and resume on Sunday, January 13 to Tuesday, January 15, 2019
  • Time: Between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
  • Duration: Approximately seven (7) hours
  • Note: Interruptions may be longer or shorter than expected. Work may be rescheduled or completion dates adjusted due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect

  • Lane restrictions at Eglinton Avenue East - east of Kennedy Road.
  • At least one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
  • Road users can expect delay when travelling through the intersection.
  • This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather.
