What Work is Taking Place?

As early as May 6, 2019, the traffic configuration at Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue will change to accommodate the next stage of construction.  Traffic on Eglinton Avenue will be shifted south and construction will return to the north side of Eglinton Avenue between Shortt Street and Dufferin Street.  The work zone on the north side of Eglinton Avenue, east of Dufferin Street will remain in place.

Hours of Work 

  • The new traffic configuration will be implemented as early as May 6, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.
  • The new configuration will remain in place for approximately one (1) month

What to Expect
  • Traffic on Eglinton Ave will be shifted north
  • Traffic on Dufferin St will be shifted west
  • The east crosswalk will close and the west crosswalk will be reinstated
  • Expect delays while the change is being implemented
