Lane Reduction for Overnight Concrete Pour at Forest Hill Station Friday August 2, 2019

juillet 31, 2019

On Friday August 2, 2019 beginning at 3:00 a.m. crews will perform a concrete pour at Forest Hill Station.  The concrete will form part of the future station roof.  Lane reductions will be in effect for concrete truck staging.  This is not a full intersection closure.  Trucks will stage in the eastbound curb lane of Eglinton Avenue between Chiltern Hill Road and Menin Road and in the westbound curb lane between Bathurst Street and Mayfair Avenue.  The concrete pour will take approximately 12 hours to complete. One lane of traffic in each direction on Eglinton Avenue West will be maintained while this work takes place.  To minimize the impact to the travelling public, and to ensure the integrity of the pour, this work will begin overnight when traffic is light.
