What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday October 28, 2019, crews will work through the weekend and overnight to install a new sewer system between Brownlow Ave and Mt Pleasant Rd. Work will take place within the work zones, however some overnight work in live traffic is required. This work requires rolling lane closures. Eglinton Avenue and Mount Pleasant Rd will be reduced to one lane only, alternating traffic in each direction, while this work takes place.  To minimize the impact to the travelling public, this work will be performed overnight, when traffic is lighter. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place. Crews will endeavour to minimize disruption as much as possible.
