What Work is Taking Place?
On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, crews will perform a concrete pour in the work zone south of the Eglinton West subway station. The concrete will form part of a permanent station structure on the east side of the TTC box. Two concrete pumps will be set up within the work zone. Concrete trucks will stage on the east side of Allen Road South, while this work takes place. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place. To ensure the integrity and continuity of the pour, work will begin as early as 4:30 a.m.
Hours of Work
- Tuesday, March 24, 2020
- The pour will begin at 4:30 a.m. and take approximately eight (8) hours to complete
- Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

What to Expect
- Expect delays while travelling through the intersection
- 4+ concrete trucks are expected per hour
- Concrete trucks will stage in the laydown area east of Allen Road South
- Noise from construction equipment can be expected
- Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place

Travelling Smart during Construction
Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
