What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Keelesdale have diverted the sidewalk in front of the TPSS building to facilitate final road works. As early as Wednesday June 17, crews will also be diverting the sidewalk in front of the third entrance, on the southeast corner of the intersection. The sidewalk in front of the third entrance will be closed for approximately three weeks. Pedestrians will be rerouted around the perimeter of the workzone. Work may be extended due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Upon completion of this work, the sidewalk will reopen. Access to businesses will be maintained. There will be no impacts to TTC bus service.

Hours of Work

  • Crews will be diverting the sidewalk from as early as Wednesday June 17 for approximately three weeks.
  • Work may be extended due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion.
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected.

What to Expect

  • The sidewalk in front of the TPSS building continues to be temporarily closed. Pedestrians will be rerouted to the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, in front of York Memorial Collegiate. Access to businesses will remain open.
  • The sidewalk in front of the third entrance will be temporarily closed. Pedestrians will be rerouted around the workzone in the southeast corner of the intersection.
  • All current traffic restrictions at the intersection will remain in place.
  • Expect delays when travelling through the area.
  • No impacts to TTC bus routes.

 

Travelling Smart during Construction

Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
