Upcoming Concrete Pours at Chaplin Station Tertiary Entrance August 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

Two more concrete pours will take place at the Chaplin Station Tertiary Entrance site in August 2020. The concrete will form walls in the station’s concourse level. A concrete pump will be placed within the work zone on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West, west of Russell Hill Road and several concrete trucks will deliver concrete to the site each hour. Each pour will take approximately five (5) to 14 hours to complete.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activity, including concrete trucks, concrete pumps and a crane can be expected. Several concrete trucks will enter and exit the work zone each hour. Please note that concrete trucks must remain running to allow for continuous turning of the mixer and to discharge concrete. Please review the traffic and transit details below.
