What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Fairbank Station continue to perform large concrete pours. Crews will be pouring on Tuesday February 23, beginning as early as 7:00 am. Concrete pumps will be placed within the Main Entrance work zone. Concrete trucks will be staged on Dufferin Street, south of Eglinton Avenue West. On Wednesday February 24 and Thursday February 25, crews will be pouring from the secondary entrance beginning as early as 7:00am. Concrete trucks will be staged on Dufferin Street, north of Eglinton Avenue West within the secondary entrance workzone. Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open while this work takes place.


What to Expect

Concrete trucks will be staged on Dufferin Street. Access to properties along Eglinton Avenue West, Dufferin Street, and Vaughan Road will be maintained. Noise from construction equipment, such as concrete trucks and construction vehicles, can be expected.



  • Concrete will be poured on Tuesday February 23, Wednesday February 24, and Thursday February 25
  • The concrete pours will begin as early as 7:00am and last for approx. nine hours
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected 



  • Concrete trucks will be staged on Dufferin Street, south of the Eglinton Ave W on Tuesday and north of Eglinton Ave W, within the workzone, on Wednesday and Thursday
  • Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave W will remain open



  • Periodic sidewalk interruptions – pedestrians will be rerouted to temporary sidewalk



  • All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
