What Work is Taking Place?

On Saturday March 20, 2021, a concrete pour will take place at the Chaplin Station Tertiary Entrance, located on the south side of Eglinton Avenue east of Chaplin Crescent. The concrete will form the concourse slab. The pour will begin at 6:00 a.m. and last for approximately 12 hours.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activity including concrete trucks and pumps can be expected. Approximately 10 trucks will enter and exit the site per hour. To allow for continuous turning of the mixer and discharging of concrete, concrete trucks must remain running.

HOURS OF WORK

  • Saturday March 20, 2021 at 6:00 a.m. for approximately 12 hours
  • The pour may be longer or shorter than expected or may be rescheduled due to inclement weather

TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No change to traffic for this work
  • The Chaplin-Russell Hill laneway will remain closed behind the Tertiary Entrance
  • Pedestrians may experience delays when traveling through the area
