Utility Reinstatement Works at Cedarvale Station - June to December 2021
What Work is Taking Place?
From June 2021 to late December 2021, wet and dry utility reinstatement works will take place on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West, between Winnett Avenue and Flanders Road. To facilitate this work, minor excavation and backfilling activities will be performed within the work zone. Works are expected to take place Monday to Saturday between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Occasionally, use of a hydro-vacuum truck and/or compaction roller may be required.
What to Expect
Periodic noise from hydro-vacuuming, trucks, saw-cutting, and hammering can be expected while this work takes place. Construction vehicles and trucks will be staging in and around the work zones during this work. Expect delays while travelling through the area. Water shut-offs may be required – notice will be provided in advance of water-service interruptions.
HOURS OF WORK
- June 2021 to Late December 2021
- Works are expected to take place Monday to Saturday between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Overnight work may be required
- This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the traffic configuration or pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
