What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Tuesday, June 22, 2021, the sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton Ave W, east of Dufferin St, will be temporarily rerouted around the work zone. Crews will be performing sidewalk restoration activities. Pedestrians will be temporarily rerouted around the wor kzone. There will be no changes to crosswalks. This staging will remain in place for approximately one month.

What to Expect

Traffic on Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave W remains the same. Pedestrian access on the south side of Eglinton Ave W in front of the primary entrance will be safely rerouted around the new work zone. Access to business will be maintained. One lane in each direction will be maintained.

HOURS OF WORK

• This change will be implemented as early as Tuesday, June 22, 2021
• This stage will remain in place for approximately one month
• The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
• Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
• This work may be longer or shorter than expected

 TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No traffic impacts are associated with this work

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• Pedestrians will be rerouted around the workzone on Eglinton Ave W, in the southeast corner of the intersection
• The sidewalk in front of the TPSS building remains closed. Access to businesses will be maintained.
• No changes to crosswalks
• All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
