What Work is Taking Place?

As early as June 28, 2021, the traffic configuration at Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue will change to accommodate the next stage of construction.  Traffic on Eglinton Avenue, east of the intersection, will be shifted to the middle lanes. Work zones will be in place on the north and south sides of Eglinton Ave W, between Dufferin St and Northcliffe Blvd. The work zones on the southwest and northwest corners of the intersection will remain in place.

 

What to Expect

Traffic on Eglinton Ave W will be shifted to the middle lanes. This configuration will remail in place for approximately 5 weeks. Expect delays while the change is being implemented.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • The new traffic configuration will be implemented as early as June 28, 2021 at 7:00 am
  • The new configuration will remain in place for approximately 5 weeks
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected 

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Traffic on Eglinton Avenue, east of the intersection, will be shifted to the middle lanes.
  • Work zones will be in place on the north and south sides of Eglinton Ave W, between Dufferin St and Northcliffe Blvd
  • All other traffic configurations remain in place.

 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No pedestrian impacts are associated with this work

 

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
