Laneway Closure for Service Building Construction Fairbank Station - August 26

As early as Friday August 27, 2021, the Dufferin Street-Dynevor Road laneway will be closed daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) week while crews continue work on the Fairbank Station Service Building.  The north crosswalk at Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave W will also be closed while work takes place.


What to Expect

No through access for vehicles while the laneway closure is in effect. Some parking spaces will be impacted. Affected properties have been notified directly. Through access will be restored at the end of each working day.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as August 27, 2021, for approximately (1) week.
  • This work is expected to take place between approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected.

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No through access in the Dufferin-Dynevor laneway while this work takes place.
  • Access to laneway will be reinstated at the end of each workday.
  • Some parking will be impacted; affected properties have been notified directly.

 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The north crosswalk at Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave W will be closed for the duration of this work.
  • The east, south, and west crosswalks will be reinstated for the duration of this work.

 

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations.
