What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Saturday, December 4, 2021 crews at Kennedy Station will begin final road restoration of Transway Crescent. To facilitate this work, a portion of Transway Crescent between the South Service Road and the Kennedy Station Pick-up/Drop-off Loop will be closed to all traffic. Use of the North Service Road will be reinstated, which will return TTC Bus movements to their previous configuration.

 

What to Expect

Transway Crescent will be closed between South Service Road and the Kennedy Station Pick-up/Drop-off Loop to ALL traffic during this work. The North Service Road will be re-opened to TTC traffic, and TTC bus movements will revert to right turns only between Eglinton Avenue East and the North and South Service Roads. Use of the Kennedy Station Passenger Pick-up / Drop-off Loop will not be impacted.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Work will take place between Saturday, December 4, 2021 – April 2022
  • Work will take place between 6:00 am – 11:00 pm
  • Work may be longer or shorter than expected
  • Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Transway Crescent will be closed between South Service Road and the Kennedy Station Pick-up/Drop-off Loop to ALL traffic during this work.

 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No pedestrian impacts are associated with this work

 

TTC DETAILS

  • TTC bus movements will revert to right turns only between Eglinton Avenue East and the North and South Service Roads.
