Overnight Lane Closure at Allen Road North and Eglinton Avenue West

What Work is Taking Place?

Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one shared lane only between the bus loop exit at Eglinton West Station and Allen Road North for approximately one (1) night as crews perform dry utility works for Cedarvale Station. This work will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Thursday March 10 and continue until 6:00 a.m. on Friday March 11, 2022.

What to Expect

Overnight noise from construction activities can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

• Thursday March 10 – Friday March 11, 2022, between 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.  
• This work may be delayed or reschedule due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one shared lane only for both eastbound and westbound traffic between the bus loop exit at Eglinton West Station and Allen Road North. A Paid Duty Officer (PDO) will be present to direct and control eastbound and westbound traffic through this restricted area. 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
