Urgent Overnight Lane Closure at Allen Road North and Eglinton Avenue West - March 28, 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to a single lane only between the bus loop exit at Eglinton West Station and Allen Road North for approximately one (1) night as crews perform urgent remedial utility works for Cedarvale Station. This work will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Monday March 28 and continue until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday March 29, 2022.

What to Expect

Overnight noise from construction activities can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

• Monday March 28 – Tuesday March 29, 2022, between 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.  
• This work may be delayed or reschedule due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane only between the bus loop exit at Eglinton West Station and Allen Road North.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
