Urgent Overnight Lane Closure at Allen Road North and Eglinton Avenue West - March 30, 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to a single lane between the bus loop exit at Eglinton West Station and Allen Road North for approximately one (1) night as crews perform urgent remedial utility works for Cedarvale Station. This work will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 30 and continue until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday March 31, 2022.

What to Expect

Overnight noise from construction activities can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

• Wednesday March 30 – Thursday March 31, 2022, between 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.  
• This work may be delayed or reschedule due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to a single between the bus loop exit at Eglinton West Station and Allen Road North.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
