Road and Sidewalk Restoration Works at Cedarvale Station Through June 2022
What Work is Taking Place?
Permanent road and sidewalk restoration works are ongoing on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West between Winnett Avenue and Flanders Road. To facilitate the restoration, crews will remove the existing asphalt and concrete to construct the new roadway and sidewalks. This work involves laying and compacting fresh granular material into the ground, to construct the new road. Periodically, nearby properties may experience vibration during compaction activities. This work will continue to take place Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) months.
What to Expect
Periodic noise and vibration from construction activities including, paving, grading, compacting, and concrete pours. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection. Crews are monitoring noise and vibration during this work.
HOURS OF WORK
- Ongoing Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) months
- Occasionally, crews will be required to work on Saturdays between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. to complete critical activities.
- This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current traffic configuration and pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
