What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Wednesday December 30, 2020 crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform a major concrete pour within the work zones on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, west of Mount Pleasant Road. The concrete will form one of the permanent station structures underground. To ensure the integrity and continuity of the pour, work will begin as early as 6:00 a.m. and take approximately twelve (12) hours to complete.
Concrete trucks will stage on Eglinton Avenue East, Mt Pleasant Road, and within the work zones. Two concrete pumps will be set up at the Main Entrance site. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present while this work takes place.
What to Expect
Noise from construction equipment including concrete trucks and pumps, can be expected. Several concrete trucks entering/exiting the main entrance site every hour, as well as truck staging around the work zones. 8+ concrete trucks are expected per hour. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present, while this work takes place.

This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Traffic Details
Concrete trucks will stage:
On Eglinton Avenue East, east of Falcon St and west of Brownlow Ave
On the east side of Mt Pleasant Road, south of Eglinton Avenue East.
Within the work zones
No changes to traffic routes are expected as a result of this work.

No changes to pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
