Upcoming Works – Geotechnical Testing
- Crews will drill three bore holes in the road asphalt to determine the condition of existing soil, rocks and utilities in the area.
- Bore holes will be drilled along the east side of Winnett Avenue south of Eglinton Avenue West.
Timing
- Geotechnical works will begin as soon as Monday, March 28, and continue for approximately four weeks
- Geotechnical works will be conducted between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
What to expect
- Nearby residents and businesses can expect to hear noise related to drilling, saw-cutting, and the use of heavy equipment.
Traffic Impacts
- A drill rig will occupy the curbside lane approximately 3 metres by 9 metres and a drill transport will occupy an area of approximately 3 metres by 20 metres to the south of the drill rig.
- Equipment is removed at the end of each work day.
- Pedestrian and property access will be maintained.
- As always, please take care when travelling near work sites.
