What Work is Taking Place?   

On October 1, starting at approximately 9:00 p.m., crews will make changes to the existing traffic staging at Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East to accommodate the next stage of shoring in the roadway. Set-up work will last approximately 14 hours. Shoring at Leaside Station is being completed in several stages.

Timing

• Work to change the existing set-up will occur overnight and is expected to start at approximately 9:00 p.m. and will take approximately 14 hours.  
• Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
• Regular construction operations will occur during daytime hours before and after the set-up.
• The traffic flip is planned for overnight on October 1. 

What to Expect

• Pedestrians, businesses and residents near the work site can expect to hear trucks, removal and replacement of existing line paint, movement of concrete barriers and fencing, work on traffic lights and poles and other construction equipment.
• There are no impacts or restrictions for the condo driveway at 1750 Bayview.
