UPDATED: Planned Hydro Outages in June 2019
In support of construction of the future Crosstown Light Rail Transit, crews have been upgrading and relocating existing overhead and underground hydro utilities between Birchmount Road and Kennedy Road along Eglinton Avenue East. What Work is Taking Place?
As part of continued support of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be commencing construction of the Traction Power Substation (TPSS) 12 that will power the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT) line. The work will take place in a fenced work zone located on the north east side of Birchmount Road in close proximity to Toronto Police Service 41 Station. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting civil road work in relation to road widening works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East between Sinnott Road and Birchmount Road. Starting as early as April 15, 2019 and lasting for approximately one (1) month.
There will be a sidewalk closure on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East between Sinnott Road and Birchmount Road in order to safely carry out the work. Read more »
