Concrete Pour at Fairbank Station - December 21, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Fairbank Station continue to perform large concrete pours. On Monday December 21, 2020, crews will be pouring a wall within the station box. Work will begin as early as 7:00 a.m. and the pour will be ongoing for approximately ten hours. Concrete pumps will be placed within the Secondary Entrance work zone. Concrete trucks will be staged on Dynevor Rd, south of Eglinton Avenue West. Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open while this work takes place.

What to Expect

Concrete trucks will be staged on Dynevor Rd. Access to properties along Eglinton Avenue West, Dufferin Street, and Dynevor Rd will be maintained. Noise from construction equipment, such as concrete trucks and construction vehicles, can be expected.

HOURS OF WORK

• Monday December 21, 2020
• The concrete pours will begin as early as 7:00 a.m. and last for approximately 10 hours
• The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
• Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
• This work may be longer or shorter than expected 

TRAFFIC IMPACTS

• Concrete trucks will be staged on Dynevor Rd, south of the Eglinton Avenue West
• Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open
• The laneway between Dufferin St and Dynevor Rd will remain open while this work takes place

PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS

• Periodic sidewalk interruptions – pedestrians will be rerouted to temporary sidewalk

TRANSIT INFORMATION

• All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
