Sewer Work – Eglinton Avenue East between Banff Road and Bayview Avenue
What: To prepare for west headwall construction for the future Bayview Station, crews are rehabilitating and upgrading an existing underground sewer on Eglinton Avenue East between east of Banff Road and west of Bayview Avenue.
When: Work began in December, 2015, and will continue for several weeks. Work may be rescheduled or adjusted due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Preparatory and Early Works Activities Scheduled January-March 2016
Over the next few months, crews will be conducting several activities along the Eglinton Line around the Eglinton Maintenance and Storage facility and the future stations of Keele and Dufferin.
Why: Metrolinx continues to build the Eglinton Crosstown Line (Line). It is now partnering with Crosstown Transit Solutions (CTS) to design and construct the stations and stops, track work, and signaling system. To prepare for construction across the Line, CTS will conduct a number of preparatory and early works activities around each of the underground stations. Read more »
Monitoring Equipment Installation along Eglinton Avenue West from Warren Road to Castle Knock Avenue
What: Monitoring equipment continues to be installed along Eglinton Avenue West. This equipment will measure important data related to the work of our tunnel boring machines underground. Tunnelling: What You May Experience
Dear Neighbour:
As you may know, the Eglinton Crosstown is a 19-kilometre light rail transit that includes a 10-kilometre underground portion, between Keele Street and Laird Drive. For the tunneled portion, we have tunnel boring machines (TBMs) operating around the clock - 24 hours a day, seven days week.
On average, the tunnel boring machines each travel about 10 metres per day. TBMs are working about 20 metres below ground, but we do sometimes hear from nearby residents who may experience vibration from the TBMs as they pass through the area. Read more »

Starting in mid-December, a work crew will be seen in the vicinity of the future Don Mills Station conducting survey, locating utilities, and drilling boreholes to obtain additional information of sub-surface utilities and ground conditions. Read more »
