What Work is Taking Place?
- To accommodate the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, Enbridge Gas Distribution (Enbridge) is required to relocate a gas line on Eglinton Avenue East between Ionview Road and Kennedy Road. These pipelines are integral to Enbridge’s gas system and must be re-routed to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to customers in the Greater Toronto Area.

Pedestrian Safety near Construction Sites
Construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT line, including 15 underground stations, is underway. Since the end of school, many construction sites have been set up for station construction and the set-up of some major intersections along Eglinton Avenue has been changed.

- The first stage of utility relocations includes relocation of existing underground Bell utilities.

Hydro Utility Relocation for Laird Station
What work is Taking Place?
Crews will relocate and upgrade existing overhead hydro utilities near the Eglinton Avenue and Laird Drive intersection. Once relocated, outages will be required to switch services to the new infrastructure. Outage impacts will be communicated separately only to those directly impacted by the outages.
