TTC Bus Route #33 Change Starting July 31st 2016
TTC bus route #33 is temporarily changing to accommodate upcoming construction at the future Chaplin Station. Route #33 buses will travel in reverse direction of the existing route from Eglinton Avenue West, between Chaplin Crescent and Bathurst Street. Read more »
Upcoming Works at Eglinton Station: Utilities Relocations
What work is Taking Place?
- Pending a City of Toronto permit, work will commence to replace and relocate existing utilities in the area of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue to make way for the future Eglinton interchange station. Over the coming months, storm and sanitary sewers, water mains, hydro ducts, and telecommunications utilities will be replaced and relocated in a series of stages.

Closure of Underground Pedestrian Tunnels at Eglinton Station
What work is Taking Place?
- Utilities relocation and support of excavation (shoring) for the new Eglinton station will require closure of the underground pedestrian tunnels at Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue leading from the current TTC subway station (pictured below). Tunnel closures will correspond to different phases of the construction work.

Update: Emergency Exit Building Construction - One Year Closure of Petman Avenue
What work is Taking Place?
What: Crews will return to the south side of Eglinton Avenue East to complete the Emergency Exit Building construction. A temporary closure of Petman Avenue at Eglinton Avenue East is required for the duration of this work.
Why: During this stage, crews will continue to relocate utilities, install support piles, excavate a shaft, build a stairwell, and construct the Emergency Exit Building. Read more »
