What Work is Taking Place?
Crews will be performing bridge rehabilitation works at the CP Bridge (east of Leslie Street) as early as August 24, 2020 for a period of 13 weeks. A working platform will be set up at the bridge in advance of the activities. Crews will be removing rust, painting, replacing structural steel elements and performing concrete repairs.

 

What to Expect
Noise can be expected from concrete chipping and other rehabilitation works. Crews will be using a sand blaster for rust removal, dust mitigation measures will be implemented for these activities.

 
TRAFFIC IMPACTS
• Traffic will remain in its current configuration under the bridge.
• Once lane in each direction will be maintained. 

HOURS OF WORK
• Work will begin as early as August 24, 2020 and continue for approximately thirteen weeks.
• Work may occur from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven (7) days per week, Monday through Sunday.
• Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.

OTHER IMPACTS
• Due to the nature of this work, at times there will be noise and vibration around the work area.
