On Monday March 16, 2020, crews will install a crane on Vaughan Road adjacent the Fairbank Station Main Entrance site. The crane will remain in place for approximately three (3) weeks to assist with lifting and hoisting activities at the future station’s Main Entrance.

 Hours of Work

  • The crane will be erected as early as Monday March 16, 2020. 
  • The crane will be in place for approximately three (3) weeks, from Monday March 16 until Friday April 3, 2020.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected.

What to Expect

 Traffic Details

  • Approximately three parking spaces at the end of Vaughan Road will be temporarily displaced.
  • The pedestrian routes at the intersection will remain the same.
  • Access to properties along Vaughan Rd, Eglinton Ave W and Dufferin St will be maintained.
  • No impacts to TTC bus service.
