• On Yonge Street north of Eglinton Ave, crews are pouring concrete that will form the base and walls of a new tunnel ventilation shaft for TTC’s Eglinton Station.
• South of Eglinton Ave at Berwick Avenue and Yonge St, crews are nearing completion of concrete works for the Line 1 facility building and will begin structural steel installation in late 2020.
• Inside of TTC’s Eglinton Station crews are constructing an elevator.
What to Expect
• Three access shafts located within the work zone on the north side of Eglinton Ave between Yonge St and Dunfield Avenue will be used to deliver steel, formwork and concrete to the station box.
• Deliveries will also be made to the tunnel ventilation shaft site on Yonge St north of Eglinton Ave.
• Deliveries will take place several times per week as early as 6:00 a.m. Noise from construction equipment, such as cranes, pumps and trucks can be expected.
