E.T. Seton Park Staircase Access Closure at Eglinton Avenue East

In support of construction of the future Sunnybrook Park Stop, crews will be removing the staircase access to E.T. Seton Park via the south side of Eglinton Avenue East at Leslie Street in order to construct a green wall in the park as part of the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.

Access to the E.T. Seton Park from Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily closed and the staircase removed while this work takes place. Access will remain closed until spring 2020.

Hours of Work

  • Beginning as early as August 14, 2018.
  • This work will be conducted between the hours of 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Some weekend work may be required.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion.

What to Expect

  • Access to the E.T. Seton Park from south side of Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily closed.
  • Alternate access to E.T. Seton Park via Leslie Street, north of Eglinton Avenue East through the pathways.

Pedestrian Access

  • All current opened and closed sidewalks will remain in effect.
  • Please watch for construction and public notice signage.
  • As always, please take care when travelling near work sites.
