What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday, November 1, 2022, crews will perform road restoration works on Ferrand Drive at Eglinton Avenue East. To facilitate this work safely, access to Ferrand Drive from Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily restricted while work takes place. Eastbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue East may be temporarily restricted at Ferrand Drive. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Eglinton Avenue East. This work is expected to take place for approximately five (5) hours. Upon completion of the work, access Ferrand Drive from Eglinton Avenue East will reopen.
What to Expect
Access to Ferrand Drive from Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily restricted while work takes place. Noise from construction activities can be expected. Construction vehicles and trucks will stage within work zones and traffic tapers. Traffic barrels, fencing, and signage will be in place to delineate work zones. Expect delays while travelling. Upon completion of the work, access Ferrand Drive from Eglinton Avenue East will reopen.
HOURS OF WORK
• On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, for approximately five (5) hours.
• Work will take place between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
• Work may be longer or shorter than expected.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
• Access to Ferrand Drive from Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily restricted while work takes place.
• A temporary lane reduction may be in place on Eglinton Avenue East at Ferrand Drive for the duration of the work.
• One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Eglinton Avenue East.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
• No changes to the current pedestrian routes as a result of this work.
