What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday October 19, 2021 crews at Mount Pleasant Station will begin to disassemble and remove the overhead gantry crane (pictured above) from the Main Entrance site. The gantry crane will be dismantled in pieces and removed using flatbed trucks. A mobile crane will be placed at the Main Entrance site to facilitate the removal and continue construction above ground. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) week.
What to Expect
Flatbed trucks staging within the work zone. Construction activities will be visible from street level. Periodic traffic interruptions can be expected, while trucks enter and exit the work zone. Noise from construction equipment, including trucks and cranes, can be expected.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Tuesday October 19, 2021 for approximately one (1) week
- This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current traffic configuration or pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
