What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the continued construction of the future Sunnybrook Park Stop, crews will continue construction of a green wall (retaining wall) at the E.T. Seton Park along the south side of Eglinton Avenue East at Leslie Street intersection as part of the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
Work begun in August 2018 and will continue until December 2018. Access to the E.T. Seton Park from Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily closed and the staircase removed while this work takes place. Access will remain closed until spring 2020.
A green wall is a wall partially or completely covered with greenery that includes a growing medium, such as soil or a substrate. A green wall is comprised of plants grown in supported vertical systems that are generally attached to an internal or external wall.
