What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday July 29th and Tuesday July 30th, crews will be reducing Eglinton Avenue W to one lane from 10am – 2pm. Crews will be repairing the road on the south side of Eglinton Ave W, east of Dufferin St. Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue W will remain open while this work takes place.

Hours of Work

 

  • As early as Monday July 29th and Tuesday July 30th.
  • Eglinton Ave W will be reduced to one shared lane only from 10:00am until 2:00pm. Two-way traffic facilitated by traffic control personnel and Paid Duty Officers. 
  • In the event of inclement weather, this work will be rescheduled for a later date.

What to Expect

 

  • Crews will be fixing asphalt and paving along Eglinton Avenue W.
  • Crews will be restricting Eglinton Avenue W to one lane on the south side, east of Dufferin Street.
  • There will be two flagpersons directing traffic through the area for the duration of the work.
  • Noise and lighting from construction activity can be expected.

Traffic Details

  • Access to properties at the intersection will be maintained.
  • The north, south, and east crosswalks at the intersection will remain open. The west crosswalk will remain closed.
  • In addition to construction activity, residents can expect to see equipment and material storage within designated work zones.
  • Travel delays are expected with construction. Please allow extra time for your journey.
