What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday, December 22 and Wednesday, December 23, crews at Keelesdale Station will be performing underground utility repairs at Yore Rd and Trethewey Dr, north of Eglinton Ave W. In order to safely perform this activity, traffic travelling south on Trethewey Dr will be reduced to one lane around the workzone, north of Eglinton Ave W. There will be no changes to pedestrian routes. All turns at the intersection will remain open.
What to Expect
Crews will be conducting repairs around a hydro pole at Yore Rd and Trethewey Dr. A new work zone will be erected on Trethewey Dr for the duration of this work. Upon completion, the road will reopen. Noise levels will remain the same as regular construction activity.
HOURS OF WORK
- Utility repairs will begin as early as Tuesday, December 21 and last approximately two days
- Crews continue to work as early as 6:00am - 11:00pm
- Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
- The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
- This work may take longer or shorter than expected
TRAFFIC IMPACTS
- One southbound lane will be maintained around the temporary workzone
- No impacts to TTC bus service
PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS
- No changes to pedestrian routes
- Access to businesses and properties will be maintained
