What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Thursday, August 11, 2022, traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will shift fully to the south side of the road. Traffic on Chaplin Crescent will remain on the west side of the road. This traffic configuration will remain in place through late Summer 2022. For more information, please review the complete notice below.
What to Expect
Construction will shift to the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, and traffic will move to the south side of the road. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Chaplin Crescent and Eglinton Avenue West. Utility installations and road and sidewalk restoration works will take place on Chaplin Crescent and Eglinton Avenue West. Noise from construction equipment including jackhammers, hydro-vacs, excavators, trucks, and hand tools can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Thursday, August 11, 2022,
- This traffic stage will remain in place through late Summer 2022
- Overnight work may be required to implement the traffic changes
- This work may be delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will shift to the south side of the road
- Traffic on Chaplin Crescent will remain on the west side of the road
- All northbound, westbound, and eastbound turns will be restricted
- The southbound left turn from Chaplin Crescent onto Eglinton Avenue West will remain restricted
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
