What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Tuesday, September 20, 2022, traffic lanes on Eglinton Avenue West, east of Bathurst Street, will shift fully to north side of the road. Traffic on Bathurst Street will remain on the east side of the road. The southbound right turn from Bathurst Street to Eglinton Avenue will remain open. All other turn restrictions will remain the same. This traffic configuration will remain in place for approximately two (2) weeks.

What to Expect

Overnight noise can be expected while the traffic changes are being implemented. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection. Utility, road, and sidewalk restoration works will continue on Eglinton Avenue West and Bathurst Street during this traffic stage. During these activities, noise from construction equipment such as excavators, jackhammers, trucks, and hand tools can be expected. Concrete barriers, fencing and traffic barrels will be in place to delineate work zones.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Tuesday, September 20, 2022 for approximately two (2) weeks
• Overnight work may be required to implement the traffic changes  
• This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

• Traffic lanes on Eglinton Avenue West, east of Bathurst Street, will shift fully to north side of the road
• Traffic on Bathurst Street will remain on the east side of the road
• The southbound right turn from Bathurst Street to Eglinton Avenue will remain open

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• The crosswalk on the west and south sides of the intersection will be partially closed
