What Work Is Taking Place?

The laneway located between Chaplin Crescent and Russell Hill Road, south of Eglinton Avenue, will be closed periodically between Friday, October 28 – Friday, November 4, 2022, to accommodate waterproofing works on the roof of the Tertiary Entrance. The closures will take place Monday - Friday, between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Once the work is completed, the laneway will reopen.

What to Expect

There will be no vehicle or pedestrian access through the Chaplin-Russell Hill laneway during the closure. Noise from construction equipment, including a lift, can be expected.

HOURS OF WORK

  • From Friday, October 28 – Friday, November 4, 2022
  • The closures will take place Monday - Friday, between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The Chaplin-Russell Hill laneway will be closed periodically
  • Vehicle and pedestrian through access will be prohibited
  • Property access will be maintained from either end of the laneway
  • No changes to traffic conditions at Chaplin Cres and Eglinton Ave are required for this work

TTC DETAILS

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
