What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will relocate an existing sanitary sewer line on Eglinton Avenue East between Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street to support the upgrade of existing infrastructure at the future Brentcliffe Portal and Sunnybrook Park Stop. 

To minimize traffic disruption for the community, transit users and local businesses, this work is being done overnight. Paid Duty Police Officers will maintain safe traffic flow. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will be pouring the concrete foundation for the Brentcliffe Portal.  Work will be conducted within the existing work zone located on Eglinton Avenue East between Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street. Due to the large size of these concrete pours, work will start at 5:00 a.m. in order to complete the pour during daytime hours, reducing impact to traffic in the area. Read more »

Pedestrian Safety near Construction Sites

The tunnelled section between Brentcliffe Road and Black Creek Drive is complete, and last year, construction activities began at all 15 underground stations including Kennedy Station. The preparatory works at the at-grade portion of the line, between Brentcliffe Road and Kennedy Station, also started this summer. Since the end of school, many work zones have been set up for construction and some major intersections along Eglinton Avenue have changed.
