What work is taking place?

Crews at Keelesdale station will be installing new machinery onsite on Tuesday January 8, 2019. Due to the inclement weather conditions in the winter months, there may be unforeseen delays. Our constructor will attempt to proactively notify of any changes to the below schedule, but it is not always possible with the sudden weather changes or other factors that may affect the pour date and time. Hours of work

  •  The installation is expected to occur on Tuesday, January 8 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect

  • Construction staging will occupy the north east corner of Eglinton Ave W and Keele St; one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
  • Noise from construction equipment installation can be expected.
  • Heavy truck traffic entering and exiting the work zone (approximately every three to four (3-4) minutes).
  • In addition to construction activity, residents can expect to see equipment and material storage within designated work zones.
  • All TTC stops will be maintained during this work. 


Pedestrian Impacts

  • All open sidewalks and crosswalks will be maintained during this work.
